Last chance for the low prices and low interest

 

What will the outlook be for housing this year in California? 

 

Here’s a quote from Forbes magazine that just came out:

 

 “ Experts anticipate households will take some time to do the math on how the tax plan impacts them and the value of their home before making any big moves. Nevertheless underlying demand should remain strong after the best year for wage growth since the recession. Pent up demand from renters who have been unable to find suitable homes to buy also means the lid won’t stay on for long.”

 

The High Desert Region has been a sleeping dragon. There is no way to describe the demand for quality suitable housing in Southern California other then it is truly dire. The need for housing is enormous. The population growth has fueled this need and the drag on the economy for the last 10 years prevented housing development, growth and construction that would normally meet the demands of a population.

E220 Corridor

 

"The California Department of Transportation, in cooperation with a joint powers authority, will in June begin buying land to build a 63-mile high desert freeway connecting the Los Angeles County communities of Palmdale and Lancaster with the San Bernardino County communities of Victorville, Apple Valley and Adelanto" (Sahagun, 2018).
